Portland Senior Session | Felicity {Part 1}
This Portland senior session with Felicity was such a blast! Her mom Desarae and I went to high school together in Montana (where does the time go?!!) and she saw me post some photos of the pretty Portland cherry blossoms. Desarae jokingly mentioned bringing the trees to Montana for Felicity's session and I jokingly said they should come to Portland for the session. A few messages and a phone call later, and plans were in place to actually make that happen. We decided to have the best of both worlds with a springtime session in Oregon and a summertime session in Montana (photos to come)!Felicity and Desarae drove to Portland and we met the next day for the session. Since it was their first time visiting Oregon, we made the most of their time checking out fun locations. We spent the morning in Portland's Pearl District for a fun urban vibe. We spent the afternoon searching out pretty pink trees since that was what started the conversation. While the cherry blossoms were done for the year, we found a street full of gorgeous blooms. Felicity found herself up in the trees a few times.Of course a first-time trip to Oregon wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Oregon coast so we spent the evening exploring Cannon Beach and Hug Point. Hug Point is always a favorite spot for photos on the coast, and while the tides weren't in our favor to see the waterfall, we still enjoyed the area. It was a bit chilly and cloudy so we didn't stay too long, but it was fun showing them the Oregon coast for the first time.Part 2 of Felicity's senior photos took place last week in Montana and I can't wait to share those also. Thank you so much, Felicity and Desarae for the wonderful day in Oregon and for driving all that way for this session!Heidi Heaphy Photography is now booking Portland senior sessions, engagements, weddings, elopements, and families. Contact me to schedule an Oregon session at the coast, in downtown Portland, in a vineyard, at a waterfall, or wherever your heart desires!
