Pacific City Wedding | Crystal & James
Crystal and James had a beautiful Pacific City wedding this June, and as it often does at the Oregon Coast in the spring, the rain came and brought them good luck. The couple and their family and friends celebrated with dinner at the Headlands Lodge prior to their ceremony on the beach. Crystal was absolutely stunning walking down the stairway from the lodge to James waiting below while a family member announced her arrival with a conch shell. Carolyn with Oregon Beach Ceremonies delivered a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony for this sweet couple, which included an appropriately-themed sand ceremony. The beautiful florals were provided by Effervescent Stash. Whales splashed in the background as they said their vows to one another in the rain. They cut their wedding cake under a tent on the beach after the ceremony before I snuck away with the couple for some photos in the sand. While I love capturing large wedding celebrations and joyful receptions, there's something so special and intimate about an elopement at the Oregon Coast. I absolutely love being trusted to document such an intimate gathering of a couple's closest family and friends. Crystal and James, thank you for trusting me to capture your beautiful day. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together and hope that our paths cross again at the Oregon Coast in the future!Heidi Heaphy Photography is currently booking 2019 weddings, elopements, family sessions, and other portraits.
