Cannon Beach Couple's Session | Colleen & Paul

This Cannon Beach couple's session with Colleen and Paul turned out to be one of those magical evenings at the Oregon Coast that I always hope for when meeting people there. They had traveled to Cannon Beach from Montana for their 15-year anniversary, a getaway with just the two of them without their kids. Being a Montana native myself, I am always happy when Montana people find me and ask me to take their photos at the coast. We started their session at Ecola State Park with views overlooking the ocean and Cannon Beach. As the sun started to go down over the water, we drove back down to Cannon Beach with Haystack Rock providing the perfect backdrop as always. Colleen told me that her love language was photos and I loved that they were willing to get into the water for some fun photos at the end of their session. The sky that evening turned to an incredible pink and blue just as the sun went down for the day. We could not have asked for a better way to end their photos. We made plans for another epic photo session this fall in Oregon, but sadly our plans didn't work out. I truly hope that our paths cross again.Colleen and Paul, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your anniversary getaway in Oregon. Your love for each other was so obvious even after 15 years. May you always find happiness with one another.Heidi Heaphy Photography is currently booking 2019 weddings, elopements, family and portrait sessions.
