Oregon Coast Family Session | King Family at Hug Point

When Tyler first contacted me last year telling me that he and his wife Cristal were going to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on the Oregon coast with their kids and that he wanted to surprise her with family photos, I was beyond honored. Cristal and Tyler are incredibly talented photographers in Canada at Cristal King Photography. Naturally, I was a bit intimidated to be photographing other photographers, but I could tell from our first interactions that they were going to be an absolutely wonderful family and Cristal helped put my mind at ease.  This Oregon coast family session has become a favorite.We talked about different options at the coast and I was so happy when they decided on Hug Point near Cannon Beach. It is truly one of my favorite places at the coast for sessions. I love that Cristal immediately fell in love with this location too.I can't say enough wonderful things about this family. They are just the most gracious, kind-hearted, and easy-going people. As their son gets ready for the next adventure in his life and their daughter continues her journey through high school, I love that they made time for this trip and for photos to remember it always. I only wish they lived closer and we could meet at the coast more often.Thank you so much, King family, for having me take your family photos. It truly was an honor and I loved meeting you all.
