Oregon Coast Elopement | Kailey & Brent in Hug Point
This intimate Oregon coast elopement was absolute perfection. Kailey had contacted me about a month prior to their wedding saying that she and Brent were going to elope at some point but didn't have a date yet. Things moved along quickly in their life and she contacted me on a Thursday night with their plans to elope that Saturday! I was SO thrilled that I was available to join them on a day's notice. We chatted Friday afternoon to come up with a plan and they decided to get married at Hug Point near Cannon Beach after discussing several options along the Oregon coast. As luck would have it, low tide was around the same time as sunset that day and the weather was supposed to be warm and partly sunny. Talk about a perfect February day at the coast!I had never met Kailey and Brent prior to their wedding, but as soon as I met them, I could tell they were a fun-loving, easy-going, kind-hearted couple. Brent's aunt Lee was the only other person in attendance at their ceremony and she did a beautiful job officiating. After their short and perfect ceremony, Kailey and Brent climbed the slippery rocks, cuddled in the ocean, danced on the beach, and got soaked! Every once in awhile a wave would come in quickly and they were completely covered from the knees down in their wedding attire. Kailey just laughed and laughed about the fact that she was standing in her wedding dress in the ocean which made me love her even more. It was great hearing about their plans for their future and the fun things they like to do together. But I especially loved watching the two of them laugh and be totally silly and in love.Kailey and Brent, it was truly an honor to be a part of your wonderful wedding. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together!
