Family Photos in Portland's Pearl District

It's always fun to switch things up when it comes to family photos and that's exactly what we did for the Marshall's family session. We decided to go a bit fancy and took their family photos in Portland's Pearl District. Ann and her girls had the most beautiful floral crowns made by the incredibly talented Peggy from Island Girl Floral Design. It is always a joy when I get to work with her. The floral crowns complemented their gold skirts which were perfect for twirling and walking around the city. It is always an honor when I get to photograph another photographer (see her beautiful work at Ann Marshall Photography). I loved that her girls were so used to being in front of the camera and were up for anything on a rainy Portland day.We walked around the Pearl District, Jameson Square, and as we were looking for a view of the city bridges, we found ourselves on Marshall Street which was so fitting. The best part of this family session was when Ann and Jesse sat down with their girls and pulled out ultrasound photos to reveal that they were going to be big sisters in the spring! It was so fun getting to witness that exciting news for this family.
