Cathedral Park Wedding {Kate & Geoff}

When Kate contacted me at the beginning of the year about their Cathedral Park wedding, I knew I was going to love their day. Kate and Geoff had been best friends for several years before falling in love and getting engaged. They wanted a simple, laid back ceremony and celebration with their closest family and friends. She said they were going with the "who cares if it's not perfect" approach, which I always think is just perfect. Cathedral Park is always a beautiful location for a Portland wedding and their May wedding date was no exception.Kate looked stunning in her gorgeous dress from BHLDN and hair and makeup done by Lindsey at Powder Inc. Beauty. Their setup at Cathedral Park was simple and elegant with beautiful florals from Brenna Burnett Florals. Even Kate and Geoff's sweet pup Griswold was decked out in a floral necklace for the occasion. Pastel-colored cakes in several delicious flavors from Back to Eden Bakery sat atop vintage furniture.Their ceremony was sweet and simple, and then they drank Champagne and ate cake together with their guests before going out for pizza afterwards. It was truly a perfect Portland evening for this wonderful occasion. Thank you Kate and Geoff for the honor of capturing your wedding day.
