Rockaway Beach Wedding {Nicole & Kyle}

Nicole and Kyle had been together for just over 2 years when they decided to get married and join their families. Their children and their family and friends played a big role in their summer Rockaway Beach wedding on the Oregon Coast. They traveled from Washington for the occasion and I met Nicole and her bridesmaids at their coastal rental house while she was getting ready for her beautiful beach wedding.

I loved all of the fun beach details at their wedding from the coastal-themed cookies at the reception to the wooden anchor guests signed. They had their guests write messages in a bottle that Nicole and Kyle would read on their first anniversary as memories of the day. Their ceremony was set up on the beach and they had displayed lanterns, florals, and wooden crates at their ceremony location in the sand. It was such a lovely beach display and perfect for their wedding. Nicole and Kyle didn’t see each other before the ceremony, so they first saw one another as she walked with her dad through the beach grass and down the sand. They said their vows as guests cuddled together on the beach.

After the ceremony, we took bridal party photos on the beach, then Nicole, Kyle, and I stayed back for some photos of just the two of them while guests headed back to the beach house for the reception. This bride and groom were absolute troopers when I pulled them aside at the end of the evening during the reception to walk back onto the beach for sunset. It was such a beautiful evening with this beautiful couple.
