Portland Photographer | Twirling in the Pearl

This session with Meredith was nothing short of absolute fun! She and I grew up in the same small town of Anaconda, Montana and her oldest sister was a good friend of mine in high school. Meredith is living in Portland now too and loving life in this great city. I hadn't seen her in many years and it was a blast reconnecting with her, catching up on our families, and taking some awesome photos of her in this amazing black tulle skirt that her mom made (with some help from her dad and sister too)!You must do yourself a favor and check out Meredith's blog, Martha Chartreuse. I kept telling her she could easily be a model and I wasn't kidding. She was up for anything, a dream to photograph, and she chose the best places in Portland's Pearl District for tulle skirt twirling and a little bit of dancing. The forecast on this particular day said cloudy with a 0% chance of rain, but this is Portland so even a 0% chance of rain brought rain. Go figure! So Meredith rocked it with an umbrella and twirled in the streets in the rain too. While taking photos near the river, a friend of Meredith's saw us below his apartment and invited us up for some delicious drinks and a great view.
