Portland Photographer | A Day at the Farm

Since moving back to Portland from Montana last year, seeing friends on visits home gets tricky and sometimes more difficult than I would like. Our Montana visits are usually packed with limited family time and often photography sessions. The last time Mary and I saw each other was during THIS visit which is far too long ago and totally unacceptable! So we decided that we needed to find a different way to see each other in person. We came up with a plan to meet in Spokane for some fall fun at Green Bluff Farms, a favorite of ours for several years. It was so great finally catching up face-to-face, watching the kids play at the different farms we visited, and experiencing the craziness that always comes with time together and kids these days. We wouldn't have it any other way! I miss these friends so much and had such a wonderful time.Of course any visit comes with photos and I just love these ones of Mary and her girls and the girls and their cousins (who were so incredibly generous to share their home with us for the weekend, for which we are so grateful). Our little mom and daughter session in the apple trees didn't last long before the wind and the rain came, but I'm happy we were able to do them.Thank you so much, Mary and girls (and Bob too!), for driving to meet us and for your friendship always!
