Hug Point Elopement {Celeena & Josh}

Celeena and Josh were married at Hug Point on a beautiful Tuesday in June and their Oregon Coast elopement could not have been more perfect. I first met Celeena when our family moved back to Oregon several years ago when she was my older son’s kindergarten teacher. Our family has loved her since that first day of school and it was truly an honor to capture her wedding day to Josh. I could not be happier for this sweet couple.

On the wedding day I met Celeena and her best friend at their hotel room in Cannon Beach where she was getting ready and finishing her vows. Then I drove to the house where Josh was getting ready with his friend who was also their officiant.

Celeena was absolutely stunning and so very happy as she walked down the pathway for their first look at Hug Point. She and Josh said their vows on a nearly-empty beach and then we walked to the waterfall after the ceremony when the tide had gone down. They toasted with champagne, lit sparklers on the beach, ate cake, and took gorgeous photos. Then the sun went down and a gust of wind arrived and we all scrambled and laughed and they signed their marriage certificate on each other’s backs in the parking lot. It was perfection and I loved getting to witness this wonderful day for two wonderful people. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together, Celeena and Josh!
