Cannon Beach Elopement {Alisha & Chris}
Alisha and Chris traveled to the Oregon Coast from Texas and opted for a Cannon Beach elopement with just the two of them. I always love helping couples plan their elopements at the Oregon Coast, especially when they have never visited before, and working with Carolyn with Oregon Beach Ceremonies as the celebrant always helps make that process all the more fluid and stress-free. Alisha contacted me and said that she and Chris were debating between a wedding ceremony at the beach or at a waterfall. When they stumbled on Hug Point, just south of Cannon Beach, they knew it was the perfect, meant-to-be location for them. Besides the fact that Hug Point has both a beach and a waterfall, their married last name just happens to be Cannon. Hug Point is one of those locations at the Oregon Coast that requires planning around the tides. It becomes a dangerous and inaccessible location at higher tides, so making sure that a wedding takes place at the appropriate time there is essential. I was so happy that the tides worked out for Alisha and Chris.I arrived at The Union Knot salon as the talented Brigitte was doing Alisha's hair and makeup. I have had the privilege of working with The Union Knot on several occasions in the past, but it was fun to finally meet Brigitte in person and see her work her magic. After the salon, Alisha and I went together to Hug Point where Chris was waiting for their first look. Chris had planned several surprises on their wedding day, including ordering custom wedding day shoes for Alisha and choosing the wedding bouquet. The bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement from Cannon Beach Florist.The wedding ceremony was simple and perfect and included both hand tie and sand ceremonies. Carolyn did a wonderful job as their celebrant and it was an honor to capture this couple as they said "I do." After the ceremony I took photos Alisha and Chris in all of the beautiful places at Hug Point. They are such a loving couple and I just captured them being themselves as a newly-married couple.Alisha and Chris, I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together and I hope that our paths will cross again in the future.Are you planning a wedding at the Oregon Coast in 2020?
