Beaverton Maternity Session | Rae & Mike

This was such a fun maternity session with Rae and Mike who were expecting a sweet bundle of joy in just a few weeks.  Rae was such a stunning and glowing mama-to-be, but she was definitely at that stage of the pregnancy when you are done being pregnant and are just ready to meet your baby.  The best news ever arrived shortly after I sent off their maternity gallery that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy!  They had decided to keep the baby's gender a secret until the birth and I was thrilled with their news.  I might be a tiny bit biased, but I happen to think that baby boys are pretty amazing.  We met at the beautiful Jenkins Estate for their Beaverton maternity session and it was a great evening during a spring when rain-free evenings have been hard to come by.  This maternity session was even more special because this couple came to me through the recommendation of one of my favorite wedding couples.  I love it when I get to meet friends and family of people that I have worked with in the past.Rae is a complete natural in front of the camera because she grew up with a photographer father.  She and Mike were just a joy to work with and get to know, and I told Rae that she will be hearing from me again for fun photo projects in the future!Thank you so much, Rae and Mike, for trusting me to capture this special time in your life.  I wish you both a wonderful journey in parenthood with your sweet baby boy, and hopefully some sleep-filled nights again soon!Heidi Heaphy Photography is now booking 2017 portrait sessions, weddings, and elopements.  I would love to meet you in Portland, at the Oregon coast, or elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
