Portland Elopement Photographer | An Evening in the Lavender

What can I say about this session? It was an absolutely beautiful evening full of photography talk with the talented Julie Paisley Photography and a group of women passionate about doing what we love. Every time I get a chance to gain knowledge and hang out with photographers I admire, I take it. It is so important to me to continue learning about the ins and outs of business, to see how others make their businesses work, to grow my photography skills, and to remain passionate and inspired. Julie Paisley is a photographer that I have admired for quite awhile and I was so excited to hear that she was coming to Portland for one of her Click and Chat workshops.We met before the actual shooting part of the workshop at Smith Berry Barn, a perfect setting to sit outside and get to know each other, chat about photography, and ask questions. Then we ventured up the road a bit to Mountainside Lavender Farm where we met Chloe and Derekk, the gorgeous couple that modeled for us. The lavender was so pretty and fragrant and we took photos and chased the light until there was no light left for the evening.
