Gearhart Wedding {Jess and Josh}

Jess and Josh’s beautiful Gearhart wedding took place this past October at the McMenamins Gearhart Hotel on the Oregon Coast. Their wedding was postponed from the previous year, as were many weddings, due to the pandemic. It was such a relief when they could safely hold their ceremony and celebrate with loved ones. Jess and Josh met each other while she was working at Orangetheory Fitness and he came in to take classes. This is the same place where I met Jess while taking classes and it was an honor to capture the day for them.

On the wedding afternoon, I met Jess, her mom, and her bridesmaids at the hotel where she was finishing getting ready. Her hair and makeup were done by the talented artists at The Union Knot. Before the ceremony, we drove down to the beach where Jess and Josh had their first look in the sunshine and said their vows to one another in private.

They could not have asked for a better fall day at the Oregon Coast. The sun was out, there was no rain, and it was the perfect day. They were able to have their ceremony outdoors on the grounds of the hotel. Flowers from Cannon Beach Florist decorated the grounds and the bouquets.

After the ceremony, the couple mingled with guests before dinner, toasts, and dancing indoors at the hotel. Throughout the day, Jess and Josh were full of so much laughter, and happiness just radiated off their faces. It was a truly beautiful celebration.
