Cannon Beach Engagement Session | Casey & Patrick

It's been awhile since I blogged but I intend to change that and make it more of a regular habit again, starting with this wonderful Cannon Beach engagement session.  Life gets busy and work gets busy and while I take photos, edit photos, and deliver them to clients, I need to get back in the practice of sharing their stories here.I met Casey and Patrick last month for their Cannon Beach engagement session and can't wait to celebrate with them at the Oregon coast for their wedding this weekend.  They were such a sweet couple and I had a great time with them at the coast.  They brought along their sweet pup which is always fun!  We started the engagement session at Hug Point, a favorite spot near Cannon Beach.  I love shooting at Hug Point, but it becomes inaccessible and dangerous as the tide starts to come in which it did while we were there.  After dancing in the water (Casey said Patrick wouldn't dance with her, but he did!) and being chased by the waves at Hug Point, we drove to Cannon Beach and took some photos near Haystack Rock.  It was a beautiful evening at the coast, a bit chilly and windy, but sunny at one of the most gorgeous places with this gorgeous couple.Casey and Patrick, thank you for the wonderful evening.  I can't wait to capture your Oregon coast wedding!Heidi Heaphy Photography is currently booking 2017 and 2018 weddings, elopements, engagements, families, and portraits at the Oregon coast and the greater Portland area.  Contact me to chat about a session at the picturesque coast, the Columbia River Gorge, a winery, the mountains, downtown, or anywhere you want to capture your story.Click HERE to see more Oregon coast love stories and sessions from Heidi Heaphy Photography.  It truly is one of my favorite places for photography sessions.
