Astoria Wedding {Chelsea & Anthony}

Chelsea and Anthony were married in Astoria on the northern Oregon Coast on a beautiful August day. Chelsea, her bridesmaids, and flower girls got ready at the Norblad Hotel & Hostel. The hostel was across the street from the Fort George Brewery where the ceremony took place. While I captured the girls getting ready, Shannon Hager captured the gentlemen. The brewery was the perfect location for their wedding ceremony and reception.

There were so many personal touches to their day from the special gift Chelsea gave her mom that made everyone cry, to the handmade soaps from Soap Savant for all of their guests.

After Chelsea and Anthony said their “I do’s,” we walked down to the Astoria pier for family photos and bridal party photos. We snuck back down to that area right before sunset during the reception for some photos of just the two of them as well. The reception was the best mix of fancy and fun with pizza, beer, and so much awesome dancing. One of my favorite parts of the day was after the first dances when all of the girls and ladies danced to a special song together. The bride and groom stayed on their feet on the dance floor until late in the night before their guests said goodbye with an exit tunnel for the newlyweds.

Chelsea and Anthony could not have had a more perfect day in Astoria for their wedding. It was truly an honor to capture it for them.
